Top 10 J-School Survival Tips

If you are new to the School of Journalism and Mass Communications (the "J-School") this year, here are some tips to help you get through your first year. 10. You are officially a reporter-in-training. 9. There are always stories. 8. We attend the University of South Carolina. Sometimes you have to be the bigger person. 7. Social media is awesome if you do it right. 6. Get involved! (I heard ABJ is great!) 5. Get as many reps as possible. 4. NETWORK! 3. Do not burn bridges. 2. Do not feel like you have to have it all figured out. 1. ENJOY YOURSELF!
